Okay folks... Now's where we get down to the "nitty-gritty" to the answer of "How?" from the most practical persective possible.

True independence will never be achieved as long as we are enslaved to the "9 to 5 model" - which was carefully designed so that we would never have the time to do what it is we're preposing to do.

There is only one "rule" that you need to remember about Neo-tribal economics during this formative period; Capital Growth.

Capital basically means wealth in all of it's forms. And in order to support any endeavor our imaginations can come up with we will need our own methodology for generating and distributing funds to do this. The small pitance discressionary funds that most jobs afford are simply not enough (even if we pooled such resources!) to accomplish anything of significance.

So, essentially, we all need our own businesses. We need to generate money AS FAST AS POSSIBLE, and transfer that currency into hard, physical assets (like tools and materials) as quick as possible. Then I recommend coming up with a "family brand" that you can mark all your tribal property with, so there is never any confusion of who came up with what.

The core reality is that we need our own independent ability to feed, shelter, and clothe all who join a tribe (no easy task, I might add - people are expensive, and creative types tend to be more expensive than usual!!! ;) LOL) Covering the basics is a nice gesture, but we're developing a culture here, not just another "alternative lifestyle"...

So, we will need alot of money devoted to these ends... Luckily, the economical model is changing, and since you all have a computer (well, most of you), you have all that you need to sell your products and services online.

EVERYONE has something they could sell. You either make something or do something that you enjoy and that you do really, really well... Chances are, there is someone out there that wants to buy it (and indeed, it appears that many of these people will buy anything these days!)

It should be fairly easy to establish a "Neo-Tribal Virtual Marketplace" online (I'm still working on the design - anyone who wants to help with it is more than welcome to lend a hand! I'm still learning the basics of Web Pages - I spent too much time just understanding the underlying network technolgies!), where customers can come and browse the various goods and services that all the Neo-Tribes have to offer.

Alright, I've yapped enough... Does anyone else have any ideas or suggestions?
